Staff
The District provides a laptop to all instructional teachers, staff and administrators.
>>PRACTICE: The District provides instructional staff with a standard Macbook. Any additional or different purchases must be purchased with site funds.
>>PRACTICE: Laptops are provided to perform work duties. Any teacher, staff or administrator on extended leave from JESD is required to leave their laptop with their administrator so that it can be reissued to replacement staff. A laptop will be issued upon return to work.
>>PRACTICE: Laptops are not provided to non JESD employees.
The District provides computers and printers for the front office (Administrative Assistants, Office Assistants, Attendance Techs, Clerks) and libraries.
>>PRACTICE: The District provides administrative staff with a standard Windows desktop computer, typically Dell. If you want something different you must purchase it with site funds.
Classroom projection and printing is the responsibility of the site to purchase.
>>PRACTICE: Only district/site purchased devices will be supported by the JESD Technology Department. Personal printers/doc cams, etc. will not be supported.
Email Accounts and Access to JESD electronic resources:
>>PRACTICE: Email/User accounts are only created for JESD employees.
Accounts are created when an employee has completed the entire onboarding process with HR.
