Grading:

4 - all assignments submitted with more than 70% correct

3 - 75% assignments submitted with more than 70% correct

2 - 50% submitted or assignments with less than 70% correct

1 - at least 1 assignment submitted

0 - no assignments submitted

Expectations:

Assignments completed unsatisfactorily (less than 60-70% correct) will be send back for another attempt. When this happens submitted answers will remain, and check answer quota's reset so no work is lost and more opportunities are presented.

If homework is not being completed parents will be contacted at least once per chapter. If homework is still not being completed you’ll be required to complete it at school (before/after/pride).

Complete assignments for understanding, not just right answers. Because of the check answer feature students can "cheat" by process of elimination. Don't do that. Make sure you understand why your answer is correct.

BEFORE you get "bang your head on the wall" frustrated with a problem, write it down and bring it to class to ask the next day. It's ok to get it wrong or leave it blank; this is a learning process, you are not expected to know it all already.

Use the get help feature (not available on tests or practice tests).

The due date is an ideal not an absolute. When it's bedtime, go to bed. I am more concerned that you understand the homework than complete it on time. It is NOT OK to stay up past your bedtime to work on math.

Please let me know about glitches you encounter. Some common fixes include: wait a while and try again, reset your internet router, CLEAR YOUR CASHE, close the browser and re-open. Short answer responses are CAP sensitive. Also be forewarned, I have run across a few problems where the correct answer is not accepted and I pass that information along to try and get it changed system wide.
