Accelerated Reader (AR) and Accelerated Math (AM) tests

Parents may use the website to request parent access. If you request parent access, an email will be sent to the parent with a username and password which gives the parent access to view their children's STAR reading and STAR math testing results. STAR testing lets you know what level your child is performing at in reading and math.

** Your child cannot take AR tests at home.

AR & AM Home Connect

This website gives any Dorsey student or parent access to the progress the student is making in Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math. Students can view their AR goals, what AR tests they have taken and what they made on the tests, look up AR Quiz # and book reading levels, and see how they are doing in Accelerated math. The student can access this link from any internet capable computer/device using the same username and password that they use at school to login to AR and AM.

AR Book Find

Students and parents may use this website to look up AR levels and Quiz numbers for books. If a student has books at home or checks out books from other libraries, then they can determine if the book is an AR book by using this website. Just type in the title of the book, and it will give you all the information needed to take an AR test on the book if the book is an AR book. If the book is not an AR book then it will say "no information found." If the book is an AR book, then the student can bring the AR information to school and take the AR test on that book at school.

DAC's Library Search Program

This is the link to Dorsey Attendance Center's library search program. Students, parents, and Dorsey staff/faculty can use this link to search the Dorsey School library books. Just go to this website and type in the search bar an author's name, a subject, or a title of a book that you are searching for to see if we have it in our school library for the student to check out.

Students and parents can use the search below to find if we have it in our library! This is also where the librarian, Mrs. Jaime, can add messages about library activities, AR, Book Wars, Book Fair, and any other library related announcements.

DAC E-Books

This website allows any student, parent, or staff member to view and read from Dorsey's selection of ebooks. Some of these books are also AR books that you may test on at school. You will need the username and password to access the ebooks.
