When Will Orchestra Meet?

Every other day, make sure to know if you have orchestra on day 1 or day 2.

What Do I Need?

• Instrument (if you need one, just contact Mr. Weinhold!)

• Essential Elements - Book 1 (Grade 6 only).  Buy here: violin | viola | cello | bass

• Shoulder Rest (violin and violas).

What About Lessons?

The cornerstone of the WBL Middle School Orchestra program is its small group lessons.  Students will either be pulled for a small group lesson out of their orchestra class, or one of their other classes, every 6(ish) school days. If they are leaving a different class for their orchestra lesson, they will be on a rotating schedule so they are not leaving the same class every time - your student will be receiving a lesson schedule to help with this. 

Who Is My Teacher?

The Central Middle School Orchestra Program is under the direction of Mrs. Resch, with assistance by Mrs. Chase and Mrs. Wolff.

The Mariner Middle School Orchestra Program is under the direction of Mr. Weinhold and Ms. Rau.
