PRESIDENTIAL FITNESS TESTING
Students will complete formative pre-fitness testing at the start of the trimester and then set 'SMART' goals for 5 Fitness Tests. GRADING FITNESS TESTS
Each students personal fitness level is a very important part of the curriculum and as such fitness testing is worth 25% of the students overall grade. A rubric for each of the tests is attached below. Please note that the fitness rubric has been adjusted to allow all students to have some level of success, regardless of current fitness level. It is the hope of the Jefferson PE department that over the course of the trimester all students will see improvement in their personal fitness and that scores in the above tests will improve from the beginning to the end of the trimester. The fitness rubrics for both PACER and Fitness testing are below.
