Visual Ensemble Information

Our Visual Ensemble is an essential part of making our shows pop.  They are responsible for many different elements depending on the particular year, but they are an extra movement group on the floor -- sometimes incorporating with the battery, sometimes doing their own thing, and sometimes handling props.  

One other special element to the Visual Ensemble is that since they do not play an instrument, they are NOT required to be in an instrumental music class like other students.  

Visual Ensemble members should familiarize themselves with our Visual Ensemble handbook (see below) but don’t need to be concerned with knowing certain techniques or moves before coming to any clinics.  

PRE-AUDITION/Clinic INFORMATION

Students are welcome to come for any amount of time and for any of the dates that they are available. 

Monday November 4th - 8:00-9:30 pm

Saturday November 9th - 10:45-12:00 pm

At the pre-audition practices, we will teach interested students how to march and teach them a short body movement/choreography piece.   

PLACEMENT AUDITION INFORMATION

The placement auditions will take place on Monday, November 11th from 7:45-9:30.  The auditions will involve marching and displaying what performers can do with the short body movement/choreography piece that we have taught.
