This section describes the changes with respect to ORYZA2000 Version 1 as released in 2001 with the book ORYZA2000: modeling lowland rice by Bouman et al. (2001). It should be noted that the changes made to accommodate upland rice and ‘aerobic’ rice (see Paragraph 3) are experimental only, but are incorporated to encourage model users to experiment and further develop ORYZA2000.
