Sajeev will receive his PhD degree in the convocation to be held on 3rd July 2022.
Aswini and Girish also graduated with BS-MS degree to be awarded in the convocation.
Smrithi KS joins lab to work on her MS thesis project. She will be studying dElys in company of Pradyumna.
The Plasmodium SUMO and human Ubc9 interaction studies performed by Sajeev are published in Biophysical journal @ cell press. doi: 10.1016/j.bpj.2022.03.022.

The new graduate student is Ms. Divya Bindra, who will be working on nucleoporins and their association with cancer.
Students are joining back the lab after long research hiatus due to COVID-19.
Saurabh joined the lab of Dr. Jyoti R. Misra at University of Texas as post-doctoral fellow.
It is gratifying experience to be an active part of the establishment of Covid-19 testing facility at IISER Bhopal. After training and certification at AIIMS Bhopal, I am a Corona warrior now.
Usha successfully defended her thesis on 11th May 2020. She is officially a doctor of Philosophy. Congratulations!!!!! She just could not OVEREXPRESS her joy enough on successful thesis defence in Covid-19 style. Usha's work provides clue that continued interaction (Nup88-62) is important for stability.

Lab is closed at the moment due to COVID-19 lock down.
Usha received the Best oral presentation award at TCR2020 convened at BHU Varanasi.
Saurabh will be joining the research group of Dr. Jyoti R Misra at University of Texas, Dallas.

Lab celebrates Saurabh's success in thesis defence. SJKM defined new functions of ELYS and he was ventrally happy to establish Dorsal link of ELYS.

Dr. Jomon Joseph, Scientist 'F' from NCCS, Pune visited the lab in July first week and delivered a talk on "Novel role for a nucleoporin in microRNA pathway"

Dr. Subhojit Sen, from CEBS, Mumbai, visited the lab in mid-February and delivered a talk on "Ambivalent nature of Bivalent nucleosomes: clues leading from Stem cells to Cancer"

Lab@2016
Mansi received FAAC funding for attending Sumo Meeting in Shanghai, China during 21-23 October 2016.
In the second week of June 2016, we have shifted the lab to the main campus in Bhauri.
Our new lab address is Lab#107, C- Block, Academic Building#3.
Most probably we will move into research labs in Bhauri by June-July 2016. (Construction work in progress)
Lakhan visited the lab in early October 2015.
Saurabh attended Bangalore Microscopy course in late September.
