The time fields in Working Hours Settings use a 48-hour format. This allows you to specify working hours that continue past midnight into the next day.
Enter the time as HH:MM, where:
HH is the hour, from 00 to 48.
MM is the minute, from 00 to 59.
Hours below 24 refer to the starting day. Hours from 24 onward represent time on the following day, with 48:00 marking midnight at the start of the day after next.
Examples:
09:00 — 9:00 AM on the starting day.
18:00 — 6:00 PM on the starting day.
24:00 — Midnight at the start of the next day.
25:00 — 1:00 AM on the next day.
30:30 — 6:30 AM on the next day.
48:00 — Midnight at the start of the day after next.
Example: An Overnight Shift
For a shift starting at 10:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM the next day, enter:
Start time: 22:00
End time: 30:00
Using 30:00 instead of 06:00 indicates that the shift ends on the next day rather than the starting day.
To enter a time on the next day, add 24 to the hour in standard 24-hour format and keep the minutes unchanged.
For example, 1:30 AM on the next day is entered as 25:30.
