Math

During the school year, we will be focusing on four mathematical comprehension areas that align with the State Common Core Standards. Students will have the opportunity to explore, discuss, learn and apply knowledge in the sixteen topics.

Each new topic starts with an interactive story. Have your child go over the parent letter and topic game with you. Each topic also has a final test. Please review all daily class work and homework with your child to make sure they are ready for the test. There will be unit benchmark assessments after 4 math topics have been covered. Consistently practice addition and subtraction math facts weekly.
