2. Complaint Handling Measures and Dispute Resolution Measures Regarding Investment Trusts, Discretionary Investment Contracts, and Investment Advisory Contracts
1) Complaint Handling Measures Using External Organizations
In addition to resolving complaints as described in section 1 above, our company seeks to resolve complaints related to investment trusts, discretionary investment contracts, and investment advisory contracts through the following organizations. These organizations, to which our company belongs, are entrusted with the responsibility of resolving complaints by the Japan Investment Trusts Association and the Japan Investment Advisers Association. (1) Filing of a complaint by the customer
(2) Referral of the complaint to the member company
(3) Discussion and resolution between the customer and the member company
2) Dispute Resolution Measures
Our company seeks to resolve disputes related to discretionary investment contracts and investment advisory contracts through mediation conducted by the Non-Profit Organization Securities and Financial Products Mediation and Consultation Center (FINMAC) as described above. The Center is entrusted with mediation services by the Japan Investment Trusts Association and the Japan Investment Advisers Association, of which our company is a member. The mediation process is conducted by the mediation committee. If you wish to use the Center to resolve a dispute with our company, please contact them using the contact details provided in section 1 above.
The standard process for mediation conducted by the Center is as follows. For more details, please contact the Center directly.
(1) Submission of the mediation application by the customer
(2) Acceptance of the mediation application and appointment of the mediation committee
(3) Payment of the mediation application fee by the customer
(4) Hearing by the mediation committee from the customer and the member company
(5) Presentation and acceptance of the mediation proposal
3. Complaint Handling Measures and Dispute Resolution Measures Regarding Investment Partnership Contracts
In addition to resolving complaints related to investment partnership contracts conducted by our company as described in section 1 above, our company has registered individually as a Type II Financial Instruments Business Operator with the Non-Profit Organization Securities and Financial Products Mediation and Consultation Center (FINMAC). As a certified investor protection organization, the Center provides consultation, receives complaints, and offers mediation for resolving disputes related to investment partnership contracts conducted by our company.
