drumline

Drumline has two definitions in the East High School Band.

    1. The drum section playing a cadence during a parade or marching show. This will be part of your band class, but may meet outside of class time for a rehearsal or two to combine drummers from each band.

    2. Drummers getting together, as a school club/activity, to learn challenging cadences and perform. This will be an extra curricular activity and subject to the GBAPS code of conduct. All rehearsals will be outside of the school day and attendance is required to become a member.

Homecoming Parade Cadence:

For the 2015 Homecoming Parade, we will use "In The Stone" for our music. It has a built-in cadence which is the first 8 measures of the arrangement.
