Curriculum Night is September 25th
Ms. Prior was born and raised in Carson City, Nevada. She went to college in Sacramento, California on a full ride scholarship for basketball where she got her degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies. She finished her teaching degree at Sierra Nevada University in South Lake Tahoe.
Ms. Prior moved to Texas in 2007, and started teaching in Frisco ISD in 2009. She is entering her 17th year of teaching; her 16th year at Sonntag Elementary.
Ms. Prior enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters; Chaney (13), who will be in 8th grade and Cambryn (11), who will be in 6th grade. They also have a chocolate lab named Tahoe.
When she is not teaching, she is busy with her her two girls watching their soccer and basketball games. She also loves to watch most sports, especially college sports.
Ms. Prior will be teaching Math and spelling this year and will be a switch teacher with Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. Robinson. She is ready to meet her new class of 5th graders! You can contact her at priora@friscoisd.org.
