Ms. Garvin

Ms. Garvin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in the spring of 2024 and is beginning her 3rd year of teaching. She has taught 4th grade Math/Science/Social Studies for the past two years at Sonntag and is excited to continue her teaching journey with the fifth-grade team. 

Ms. Garvin was born in Ohio and moved between Ohio and Kentucky throughout her childhood. Before her sophomore year of high school, she moved to Prosper, Texas, where she later graduated from Prosper High School. After graduating from UT Austin, she returned to the North Dallas area to begin her teaching career. Her parents and two younger brothers live in Ohio, but she loves to visit them anytime she can. 

Outside of school,  Ms. Garvin enjoys reading, watching sports, and being outside with her friends. She is an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals and loves supporting her hometown teams (Texas and Ohio).
