Mrs. Bailey

Mrs. Bailey grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and moved to Allen, Texas when she was in 8th grade. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2012, then again in 2013 with her Master's Degree in Elementary Education. 

She began her teaching career at Bright Elementary in Frisco ISD in 2014 where she taught 4th grade for four years and 2nd grade for one year. She then joined the Sonntag staff in 2019, where she taught 3rd grade for four years and 5th grade for three years. This will be her 13th year teaching overall, and she is so excited to be teaching 5th grade again! This year, Mrs. Bailey will be teaching Reading and Social Studies. She will be a switch teacher with Ms. Prior and Ms. Garvin. 

Outside of school, Mrs. Bailey loves to spend time with her husband, Will, their 5-year-old daughter Ella and 1-year-old son Oliver. She also enjoys relaxing with her cat, Chloe, and exercising with her dog, Zoe. When her kids and pets aren't keeping her busy, she also enjoys reading, shopping, drinking coffee, and watching her favorite shows.
