Advanced Music Performance

High school students who meet certain advanced criteria are eligible for the Advanced Music Performance Program.

Successful completion of the requirements for this optional program will allow a student's band, chorus, or orchestra

credit to be weighted at a higher level.

The purpose of this program is to encourage students to work hard and to achieve at a higher level than the average student,

to ensure that students who rank highly in their class are not put at a disadvantage because they elect to take a music course,

and to provide stronger recommendations for college.

Specific information about the acceptance criteria and evaluation process for this program is available upon request.

Copies of all forms, guides, and review packets can be found on this page.
