Book Equivalency Chart

Students are required to read the equivalent of 14 books this year.

• Reading Counts tests must be taken for each book if a test is available. If no test is available, students should complete the appropriate form according to the genre of their novel.

• Equivalency grades carry over for due dates during the nine weeks, but equivalency credit does not roll over to the next quarter.

  • Example: Students will be given four grades for a book test or report equivalent to six books during a quarter. No pages roll over to the next quarter.
