Candidates who enter join TOPP after mid-May 2016 missed valuable foundation training.
Below are recommendations of face-to-face sessions which will be beneficial before the first day of school. We encourage all those who were accepted after mid-May to attend sessions as listed below.
The goal of Summer Institute is to provide dedicated training working with special needs students (Special Education and ESL) as required by TEA guidelines. Training offered for these specialized sessions are solely provided by ESC-20 Special Education and Bilingual work groups.
Other training sessions offered in iLearning are not available to TOPP candidates at no cost. Candidates who register for other sessions not part of the Beginning Teacher/Educator Training Series will incur fees.
