Steps to Register for Beginning Educator Training Series
Step 1: Create a CONNECT 20 Account.
Step 2: Once account is created, login to register for a session.
Step3: Enter the session number in the search box and click on “submit”.
Step 4: Read the session information to ensure you are registering for the correct session. Click on “register”.
Step 5: Enter the promotional code (TOPPMS1617) in the “Promotional Code” box and click on “apply code”. It will place a red line through the fee.
Step 6: Click on “check out”
Step 7: Verify all the information on the page and check the “I certify that the above information to be accurate” and then click on “continue registration”.
Step 8: Click on “complete checkout”.
Note: Make sure to input the code in the promotional code box. This changes cost of session to $0.
Confirming Registration & Upload Hours to TOPP Database Profile
1. Register for training session 2 weeks prior to session occurring.
2. Go into CONNECT 20 profile 1-2 days prior to the day of the session you registered to attend. If there are not enough participants, the session will be cancelled.
3. Two days after completing online feedback survey, go into CONNECT20 profile. Download certificate. Upload certificate to TOPP database profile. Instructions on uploading certificates to TOPP profile will be provided October 2016.
