TOPP Hired Candidates Accepted Late March 2016 - January 2017.

TOPP Candidates who were accepted Late March 2016 - January 2017 and secured a teaching position for the 2016-2017 academic school year are required to attend Step 2. Classroom Foundation LATE spring 2017 sessions.

• TOPP provides the opportunity for our hired teachers to attend training via broadcast during the late spring semester.

• The majority of the sessions are offered via broadcast. Two sessions only are available face-to-face.

• TOPP offers additional opportunities to attend Edivate online sessions. See chart below.

• Requirement for broadcast is to have a home computer, tablet, or phone. Devices must have access to internet.

• A facilitator will be monitoring broadcast participation. Even though participants will not be in class, the expectation is for participants to be fully engaged in the sessions. The facilitator will be asking questions throughout the broadcast. Credit for the session will not be granted should the facilitator not receive participation from broadcast participant.

• All teachers are required to register for the late spring sessions through CONNECT20. Attendance will be taken at the beginning and end of the session. Certificate of attendance will be posted in CONNECT20. Sessions are listed below, please begin registering.

• Due to new state certification requirements for the 2017-2018 academic school year, we have moved the ELPS and EC-12 PPR sessions to spring training. We value your time and do not want our teachers to repeat a session. Therefore, we can add courses to Edivate profiles for those individuals who have already attended these sessions. See schedule below.

• Teachers who are interested in attending training to increase marketability may attend. All sessions are face-to-face. Register in CONNECT20. Passing practice testing with 75% correct responses is required in order to receive official TExES approval. See tab on spreadsheet below "Increase Marketability" for session ID numbers.

• Teachers will be responsible for picking up print handouts and materials for the sessions. Please call 48 hours in advance prior to you coming to our offices (210)370-5450.
