Friday Meetings with the Instructor - Project Kickoff

Location: EBU2-309 (Around the Corner for 305 and Opposite Design Studio)

Teams should prepare a 5 minute PowerPoint Presentation that includes:

• • Description of unmet need (aka pain being solved).

  • Proposed solution(s)

  • High Risk Technical Areas and Possible Risk Reduction Tests

  • High Risk Marketing Challenges and Possible Minimum Viable Product

  • Plans for Customer Discovery for the coming week

    • Category of customers and target number of interviews for each category

  • Market research of competitors.

  • Early Adopters. This is key!

    • I suggest identifying a range of possible early adopters and then making a final selection based upon customer discovery.

  • Specific goals for the coming week with names of team members working on goals. These should be specific and tied to:

    • Risk reduction

    • Preparing for week 6 presentations to the class.
