• • Hardware based upon 3D CAD design (complete as a team). There can be a significant advantage to designing with 3D CAD before building especially with laser-cut or 3D printed parts. Choose one part of your robot that includes at least 3 parts, and:

    • Print paper copy of 3D CAD model

    • Demonstrate part built from that model.

    • Example:

• Inventor Assembly Assignment

• Dimensioning Assignment

• Intermediate Peer Review

  • Updated Gantt Chart

• Power Train Exercise

  • Gear/Moment Arm Assignment

    • Before lab each students is to complete both the Gear Exercise and the Moment Exercise. Turn in hard copies of your solutions.

      • For the Gear Exercise, m1 is 60g. You should measure the size of r1, r2, p1, p2 to figure out the mass of m2.

      • For the Moment Exercise, m1 is 75g. You need to figure our how big m2 should be in order to balance both sides.

*All lab assignments are due at the beginning of section.

Late attendance to section will result in a 50% reduction in attendance grade.
