Apparently there was a mistake on the website stating that both the Risk Reduction project and One Working Part were due during section 6. This is incorrect. Only the Risk Reduction project is due week 6. The part fabricated for your risk reduction project can be made from foamcore, duct tape, and other such materials.
One Working Part is due during section 7 and must be a part that is completely legal (no clear acrylic, no duct tape or hot glue, etc), that involves an electrical component from your parts kit (hi-speed motor, geared motor, or solenoid). You need to be able to demonstrate this electrical part to your tutor during section. It must be hooked up to the power source either by the umbilical chord connector or alligator clips.
