Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Waiting for parts to arrive so we can test and see if our design meets our sponsor's objectives.
Figuring out how to insert four needles into cartridge since cannot be accomplished through 3D printing.
Considering various suggestions on how to insert needles manually with great accuracy.
Exploring ideas on how we can make this a single handed use device.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Sent CAD design for outsourcing.
Parts currently on order and will be received by end of this week to test during the weekend.
Some design changes were made for the needle design so the prototype could be printed.
More simulations was completed through ANSYS for fluid analysis.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Test received parts immediately.
Order another prototype if test does not go as planned.
Have more detailed simulations from ANSYS that displays further fluid analysis for both designs.
Have a good prototype ready with pictures and videos for the presentation.
Update report and team webpage.

Create a single handed use device
Mount a syringe into/onto the cartridge
Prepare a complete/workable CAD design based on our ideas and show to sponsors to figure out budget necessities.
Focus on optimizing previous team's design and fixing their prototype's flaws.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Discussion on how to attach cartridge to syringe and how to strap it to the pen.
Will need to ream the prototype since it is being done as a SLS print in order to smooth out the surface. Suggest SLA for next prototype.
Recommended to drill the four holes under a microscope for extra precision.
Discussed expectations for next week's presentation: have a clear prototype with good visuals and descriptions.

Risks and Areas of Concern
Have not been able to meet with Dr. Duncan but consistently meetings with Dr. Dobke
Difficult to meet with everyone in person.
Do not have lab access so anything physical needs to be potentially done at home.
Current prototype:
Structure or materials of needles may deform/break during injection.
Optimize size of current cartridge
Agent delivery system does not work as a whole
Energy could impact conditions of the injected agent.
Resources or Information Required but not Available
Everything must be done virtually with the team.
Schedule
Describe upcoming milestone:
Test first prototype
Refine/optimize design based on printed model
Work on Preliminary Design Review Presentation
Edit/Work on report
Budget (list amount spent and amount remaining)
Obtained budget approval from Dr. Dobke to go ahead with necessary spendings
Have enough budget to outsource two prototypes
Progress on Report and Webpage
Report: received feedback on first draft, begin to make edits
Webpage: updated internal pages
