Risk Reduction Strategy
We would like to determine what design will have the best chance of success. Problems to investigate can include:
Determining what type of centrifuge will work best. Can include research and small prototypes
Hand calculations involving the geometry/forces/torque required of the centrifuge to achieve 5Gs of acceleration
Test methods of applying torque to system, and determine requirements on torque source
Perform small-scale tests of acceleration produced by prototypes to verify calculations
