Proof of Concept presentation looks good
Have added an additional bonus objective of creating a way that keeps the surfboards always leaning in the exact same place in order to always read the RFID tags properly
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
For aluminum recommend the 60-series as it has a higher stiffness than the 50 series
Aniodizing aluminum might be a really good thing to look into, it helps it last longer and has many other advantages
For connecting hinges and components, look into riveting as it could help keep things more flush, and is likely to work better with fully metal systems
Comments from Other Students in the Class (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Consider looking into bronze for rust-preventative materials
Keep weight in mind when looking at which materials to use
Risks and Areas of Concern
Piano Hinges and Spring Hinges don't have same pin sizes, resulting in issues when mounted on same joints
Need a damping system that doesn't cause this issue
