Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Develop first locker box prototype out of foam core and tape hinges (all team member hope to be involved, but this is a safety concern)
Investigate Working Model, and start making simulation of locker folding mechanism (Natalie)
Handle budget and report purchases/ receipts to sponsor (Kevin)
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
A majority of the sponsor team really like the proposed single lock design, others still have concerns about surfboard safety (04/09)
we may still consider a dual locking mechanism with a four digit pin pad lock, or mechanical lock & key
We do not have any more available sensors to work with for the locking design
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Stainless steel doesn't slide against stainless steel well
Mechanical locks can be applied lubricant as preventative maintenance
Consider alternate access methods if RFID is damaged
Counter-force spring on locker itself instead of a damper so it will go with no force in both directions
