5/13 (Delson/Steve):
Stay on top of ordering parts
New locking mechanism for backrest:
Spacing between rack and gear is critical for proper function
Seems complex, needs two hands
Instead of placing the locking blocks vertically, place them horizontally (could have a spring)
Add a handle if testing works
Be aware of max load that constant force spring can hold
Ensure that hinge on armrest is safe while in use:
Possibly lock it in the up or down position
Possibly grind down hinge so that it can open past 180 deg
Watch for interference between armrest and backrest
Side panels:
Weigh pros and cons of stationary verses sliding panels
Possibly look into using flexible fabric
Ensure safety of design:
Make sure components just don't fall under gravity
Possibly add more constant force springs
Friction can help hold things in place
Is entire desk necessary for design? Can you make it smaller (less of a moment)?
