5/1:
Look into kinematic analysis for undesired motion in backrest
Look into using rigid rod to help resist wobbling
Order parts, don't worry if every part bought isn't used
Just because a student suggested doing some form of analysis, doesn't mean its necessary to perform
Likes the idea of covering the backrest adjustment mechanism with clear plastic to showcase mechanism (look into buying special drill for holes in plastic)
Be careful when deciding which torsional spring to use
Good idea to split up physical assembly work
