Created a relay control circuit to turn on and off the motor electronically via labview program

Used wooden sawhorses to raise and support testing rig
Placed caster wheels under wood supports to make testing rig mobile.
Made a safety cage from hexagonal holed sheet metal
Made a hex bolt head fixture for the load bolt to prevent the load bolt from rotating that could wound up the strain gauge wires
