Summer Picnic in the Park

Always a great time of food, fellowship, and a bit of foolishness on the river for those who so desire!

Generally scheduled in early June, shortly after the end of Spring term, on a Sunday, we meet at Wildwood Park in Bridgewater at 1PM; attendees are asked to bring any type of "pot-luck" dish, the club provides hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, and all the paper-ware and plastic ware.

We almost always provide several canoes and/or kayaks for a very gentle tour up a basically flat-water, but very scenic, stretch of the North River, upstream from the park.

From campus, take route 11 North, at Mount Crawford take a left on Dinkel Avenue, pass campus to T intersection with main street (route 42), take a left, then a right onto Bank Street, follow it to a dead end (actually bends around to the left to reach the Park, we reserve the covered picnic area on the left).
