Missions

The primary mission trips we as a club participate in are the Street Reach program in Memphis, TN, sponsored by Brinkley Heights Baptist Church in Memphis, and the Hope Urban Outreach Ministry in Portsmouth, VA.

Both involve sharing God's word and God's love with underprivileged youth in low-income sections of inner city areas. Our club members provide sessions on Bible study, crafts, games, songs, and tutoring; a nourishing meal is sponsored by area agencies. Other services such as community clean up and restoration may also be contributed to.

Non-club members may also participate as space allows; the cost varies from minimal (e.g., meals) to non...your energy, commitment, and faith are what we need!

Those interested in participating or supporting our efforts financially or with prayers are invited to contact one of our advisors directly (see our home page).

We also support several other missions with prayer and financially, as we are able, including an orphanage in Liberia and a widow program in Kenya, and we contribute to several local and regional ministries, as the Lord allows, through time, effort, prayer, and finances.
