Our 12th annual Spring Retreat will be held May 9,10,11, Tuesday noon, to Thursday 1PM ("or so") at Camp Brethren Woods. (Just a few miles and minutes north of Keezletown; 40 minutes drive from campus.) We welcome former club members (that is, those no longer registered students; you never ae an "x-member" unless you choose to be); space permitting, as well as family members.
We'll provide transportation from campus at 10:30AM Tuesday and return here around 1:45-2PM Thursday, or you can choose to meet us at the camp at Noon on Tuesday.
This has always been a fantastic spiritual, fellow-shipping, and fun experience.
Our activities include canoeing, cookouts, ping-pong, low and high "ropes" courses, rock-wall climbing, movies, singing, sharing of our favorite Bible verses, experiences, testimonials, and other really neat things.
Mainly, though, we share our faith, as we get closer to each other and to our Lord and Savior in some of the most beautiful parts of our Father's creation.
There is no charge to participants!
Look over the attached documents, which include directions, and some basic information on the ropes courses and the camp itself.
Be gathering up your camping gear (yes we had "wood stove" heat and are indoors, and covers/sheets will work, but sleeping bags don't have to be made..), warm clothes, Bible, favorite verses, DVD movies if you have.
Most importantly, thought, please print, complete, sign, and return to Mr. Wright's office or an upcoming meeting the 4 required forms.
And start looking forward to another great time of Faith and Fellowship!
We do need a "head count" as soon as possible so PLEASE zap Mr. Wright an email with your intent to come, (and which day/s if you can't stay entire time..no problem), and whether you plan to meet us there or ride from here.
The following 4 forms need to be printed signed and returned to Agnes Rexrode, BRCF advisor, cashier office as soon as possible but at least one week before the event (These are intentionally generic dated; please be sure to write in the correct dates in all appropriate places as you sign):
