Dear York Orchestra Family,
Welcome back! The 2021-2022 school year promises to be a year of moving forward, with the most important constant: We are gathered together through a love of making music, sharing and learning together as a community. Here we go!
The most important updates first:
Wednesday, August 18, all you need is a pen or pencil.
Have your instruments (violins, violas) with you at school Thursday, August 19. If you play violin or viola, also bring a lock for your music locker. Standard combination or key locks will fit our lockers. Cello and bass students may use school instruments at York, with no additional charges or fees. Some violas are also available, though most of our viola players prefer to use their personal instrument.
If you have your folder from last year, bring that on Thursday, as we will continue to use the scale sheets and Chorale books.
