MidWest ONE Bank administers the Pearl Hull Falk Trust which provides funds for the Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship. Prior to her death in 1965, Pearl Hull Falk resided in Iowa City where her husband was a prominent banker during the early 1900's. The trust was established under the Last Will and Testament of Mrs. Falk to provide annual scholarships to needy and worthy students attending the University of Iowa. Glenn Miller Birthplace Society -
At Clarinda, IA, is offering scholarships of $4,000, $2,000 & $1,000 to instrumentalists and vocalists. These scholarships may be used for any education-related expense. It is not the purpose of this competition to select Glenn Miller look-alikes or sound-alikes, nor is it limited to pop music performance. ABI Foundation's Elevate Program Scholarship -
Attached is information about the ABI Foundation's Elevate program scholarship. A $500 scholarship is available to high school seniors who plan to attend an Iowa Community College and pursue a career in manufacturing. Interested students can apply online by May 2, 2025. Robert D. Blue Scholarship -
Applicants must be an Iowa resident planning to attend an in-state college or university during the upcoming school year and not previously been a Robert D. Blue Scholarship recipient. The applicant can be a current high school senior or someone already enrolled in a higher education institution. Applications are only accepted online, and the deadline is May 10 for each year the scholarship is offered.
Imagine America
sponsored by the Career College Foundations, is a $1,000 career education award that is available to seniors who are pursuing an education at participating career colleges across the United States. Each school may select up to three seniors to receive the scholarships. Students must have a GPA of 2.5 or greater, financial need, and demonstrated voluntary community service during senior year.
