The Home Builders Association of Northeast Iowa - April

Will award up to $2,500 to qualified students who pursue a course of study in home building trades or related industry and will attend a local college or university in the Northeast Iowa area.  You must be a senior or current college student. See www.cedarvalleyhomebuilders.com. 

Iowa Pork Producer's Scholarships  -

netINS Scholarship - 

will be awarded to five (5) seniors in the sum of $1,000 each.  Applicant must live in the trade area of an Independent Telephone Company and be accepted for admission and enrolled in an Iowa college or university.   Apply online at https://alpinecom.net/netins-scholarship/

Professional Educators of Iowa offer several scholarships which must be received by April 1, 2025. Check website:  https://peiowa.org/foundation/scholarships/.

Beta Sigma Psi -  

will award three Darryl Jahn Memorial Scholarships in sum of $1,500 each to incoming Lutheran men for their education at Iowa State University. Applicants will be evaluated on their scholastic achievement and active participation their communities and churches.  See http://epsilon.betasigmapsi.org/scholarship/new-isu-students-scholarships/ for application. 

The Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association -

will offer five scholarships to deserving senior females who have been active in high school sports. See www.iagca.org/scholarships for applications.  

Matthew Shepard Scholarship -

will be awarded to several openly gay/lesbian seniors who have a 3.0 GPA and an ACT score of 22 and will be attending an Iowa college or university.  The grants are worth approximately $7,000-$40,000 over four years.  Applications are available at https://www.leaguefoundation.org/index.php/how-do-i-apply.

Leo H. Grether Memorial Scholarship

Student-View Scholarship Program - 

Program is offering $12,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. See www.student-view.com

Imagine America 

sponsored by the Career College Foundations, is a $1,000 career education award that is available to seniors who are pursuing an education at participating career colleges across the United States.  Each school may select up to three seniors to receive the scholarships.  Students must have a GPA of 2.5 or greater, financial need, and demonstrated voluntary community service during senior year.
