ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Ultimate Frisbee is a relatively new activity that is gaining in popularity in not only physical education classes, but community centers as well. It began in 1968 when its founder, Joel Silver, proposed the development of a school team. The first collegiate competition was played in 1972 with the first Intercollegiate Championship being held in 1975.

Today, frisbee is typically a club sport on high school and college campuses, but is also a great "pick up" game when people are lacking something to do.
