**We have been working hard in our new Math classes. Some of the concepts are more difficult or kids might just need extra practice. So, I do offer Math help. This year I am starting to do Math help at lunch time once a week. The students will eat lunch with me and then jump right into our work. It is a good chunk of time to work together. Lots of practice helps! I encourage the kids to join me. I am finding the kids that have spent this time with me have significantly improved. Plus, we have a lot of fun together! **There are great resources in the textbook for practice. At the end of every chapter there is an in-book chapter test. There are also 2 sections with blue and green banner titles and labels at the end. These 2 sections have great practice problems for studying. The best way to study for math is to practice, practice, and practice! : )
There are many resources online for math practice or simply to play games that review the skills the kids are learning in class. You will find a bunch of options below. There are plenty of other sites on the web. I encourage you to explore the web for others.
