Students will enter course requests directly into (HAC) Home Access Center. The registration portal will open 11/13/20. Directions on how to make these course requests are linked here for your convenience. HAC course requests will close on 12/18/20.

In District 8th Grade Student (Class of 2025) Course Selection
During the first week of December the St. Charles North counselors met with the Wredling/Thompson 8th grade students to begin the process of selecting courses for the 2021-2022 school year. During the presentation the counselors discussed what a typical schedule looks like, the difference between standard, honors and Advanced Placement level courses, graduation requirements, the scheduling process, and more.

Attend Future Freshman Curriculum Information Night on January 14, 2021
Meet individually with counselor during the week of January 19, 2021-MEETING SCHEDULE, Students are assigned individual times to meet with their counselor. They should log into the ZOOM link on the schedule a few minutes before the meeting time. Parents are welcome, but must understand that meetings are scheduled back-to-back and the counselors must stay on schedule.

New to District Incoming Freshmen-Slideshow Presentation 12/10/20
Contact Patty Hulfachor, Registrar, at firstname.lastname@example.org to enroll at St. Charles North
Provide Proof of Residency, Driver's License, Birth Certificate, 504/IEP Documents (If applicable) to Registrar
Provide Academic Information to Registrar to be used for course placement recommendations (Report Card/Transcript, Standardized Test Scores, Teacher Letters of Recommendation-if any)
Within two days of completing the enrollment process parents will receive course placement information
Incoming Freshmen should attend Future Freshmen Curriculum Information Night on January 14, 2021
Incoming Freshmen should complete the Incoming Freshman Course Selection Survey
Parents/Students set up course selection meeting with their school counselor
Course Verification Letters mailed home on February 5
Changes to Course Selection are due no later than February 16
Unscheduled 1st/8th Parental Consent Form-Seniors Only
Course Recommendation Reversal Agreement-this must be completed and signed by parent, student, and current teacher in all cases where a student wishes to take a course at a level other than what was recommended. The purpose is not to stop a student from changing, but rather to be sure all stakeholders have the same knowledge about the change being requested.
