This exam is in a digital format via a pre-installed app on student's school-issued Chromebook. All students must bring their charged Chromebook to test. Personal devices are not allowed.
Senior students will NOT be in attendance on this date and should use the time for college or career exploration.

Tentative Testing Date: 4/9/25
The state-required ACT with Writing for Juniors will be offered on April 9th during the school day. Sophomores will take the PreACT Secure and Freshmen will take the PreACT 9 Secure exam. More information about spring test dates will be posted as soon as the State releases this information. Click this link for free ACT practice tests and resources. We will be providing more ACT-related information during the school year.
This exam is provided by the State of Illinois and is both a state and district graduation requirement.
SCN will register students and there is no cost for this college reportable score.
