The ACT and PreACT

• Tentative Testing Date: 4/15/26.

• The state-required ACT with Writing for Juniors will be offered during the school day.  Sophomores will take the PreACT Secure and Freshmen will take the PreACT 9 Secure exam. More information about spring test dates (more information to come). 

• This exam is provided by the State of Illinois and is both a state and district graduation requirement.  

• SCN will register students and there is no cost for this college reportable score.

• This will be an online (digital) exam and students will need to bring their charged school-issued Chromebooks; personal devices are not allowed.
