TICKETS: For the 2023 season, individual rides and 10-ride tickets can be purchased on the ferry.

Ferry service departs Long Wharf in Portland on the passenger ferry St. Croix, and is provided for Cushing's Island residents and their guests.

The 2023 boat schedule has been published and is available below; printed copies will also be available on the St. Croix. Note that this year there are two weekday boats - 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

Departure times are from Long Wharf off Commercial Street in Portland. Return service from Cushing's Island is 1/2 hour later.

All boats call at Summer Landing on Cushing's Island.

Parking continues to be horrendous along the waterfront. Please leave a generous amount of time to unload and park or you will miss the boat both figuratively and literally,

For the 2023 season we once again welcome back the Lucky Catch captain and crew, who will be running the ferry service again this summer. We appreciate having the crew as part of our community, and us in theirs.

If you have a group of more than eight people planning to ride the ferry to Cushings, please let both the captain and Danny (our caretaker) know ahead of time. To try to avoid any overcrowding issues, we will be using sign-up sheets on busy weekends.
