I take notes on each statement and rebuttal / statement. One side will make a statement for five minutes, and then one from the other side gets to have a rebuttal and then launch into his / her statement and so forth down the line. Phil keeps score.
It is a great idea to take notes on all of the statements and rebuttals, so when it comes time to write your persuasive editorial on dams and salmon recovery, you can address the counter view in detail and concede!
