How would you make school engaging?

A few things that I believe help engagement: choice, power, newness, relevance, rigor, immediate and pertinent feedback,

How would you make sure all voices are heard in school?

Multiple opportunities to be heard (1:1, small group, large group, and digital) opportunities to be heard, to hear what is going on, to be asked your opinion and ideas

Multiple outlets to share in an open space: whiteboards in public places to write or draw

Ability to share social media style posts: snapchat, instagram, twitter, etc

An easy way to request an opportunity to be heard by "someone in charge"

How would you help people feel confident about their next steps in life as they go through school?

Information, reinforcement, immediate support, support options for the future, prediction, foreshadowing and problem solving potential future challenges, feeling successful daily
