 Understanding the Physics that Flows

We live in a world dominated by fluids. With topics ranging from climate change and weather patterns to galactic structure and stellar evolution, fluid dynamics offers us a framework for understanding the behavior of a wide range of natural systems that meaningfully influence our daily lives and observations. In this talk we'll discuss fluid dynamics in the context of geophysics and astrophysics as well as some outstanding historical mysteries still plaguing the field today.
