Slavery in America

Students will become familiar with the history of slavery in the Americas. This unit of study will also familiarize students with some of the arguments for and against slavery during the Antebellum Era.

This unit of study is also meant to give students a foundation of knowledge to better help them understand specific events discussed in the next unit of study (Sectionalism c.1820 - c.1860).
