Conclusion
I had some difficulty finding the right size for my ring. At first, it was too small, so I had to do it again.I did not actually mill my ring because several people were having difficulty with the Othermill: the rings kept on detaching from the base. Once the rings are removed from their original position, you cannot resume the milling because it will not be as exact as it should be. However, I still learned a lot about creating the gcode for the Othermill, like the basic kinds of cuts.
