Identification

Staff log into CHA remote access similarly to logging into an onsite computer, but a security measure called dual-factor must also be used to ensure the identity of staff.

“Dual-factor” means you provide a secondary, previously registered personal identifier, every time you log in remotely. CHA uses “Imprivata ID” for this purpose.

Perform the following install on your cellphone:

    • go to the app store and search on “Imprivata ID”.

Install the app on your cellphone, allowing any permissions requested.

Open the Imprivata ID app, and do one configuration:

  • in upper-right, tap on "Features"

  • Turn on both: "Fast Access" and "Simplified E-Perscribing"

  • (you do not need to allow other requests/pop-ups asking for location/bluetooth/etc)

Continue on to next PORTAL page of these instructions, where the first time you log into CHA you will enroll this new install of Imprivata ID, connecting it to your CHA account.
