National Association of Gifted Children
NAGC is a national organization that trains teachers, encourages parents, and educates administrators and policymakers on how to develop and support gifted children and what's at stake if high-potential learners are not challenged and encouraged.
Iowa Talented and Gifted Association
ITAG is a state-level organization that advocates for appropriate action for the benefit of talented and gifted learners, supports identification and accommodation for talented and gifted learners, and increases opportunities for collaboration among all stakeholders in gifted education.
Belin-Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development
Belin-Blank is an internationally renowned institute, located at the University of Iowa, which provides excellent information, resources, and programs for gifted students, as well as parents and teachers of gifted students. The center also offers counseling services and testing services for gifted students.
The Davidson Institute provides an abundance of programs, articles, and other resources on giftedness for gifted students and their families.

A brief overview of George Betts' Autonomous Learner Model, upon which Cedar Falls E.L.P. is based. Betts is a professor emeritus at the University of Northern Colorado. His model is used throughout the United States and in other countries as well. This particular overview is provided by the Department of Education of Western Australia.
