The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that develops the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.  Taking a holistic approach to education, the Diploma Program practices hands-on learning while teaching students how to think critically and independently. 

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program provides a rigorous international college preparatory program in an environment that promotes international understanding and fosters a more compassionate citizenry. We require prerequisites in 9th and 10th-grade year in the areas of English, math, science, social studies, a foreign language, and the arts. IB requires participation in extracurricular activities and community involvement to develop the whole person. 

With almost 900 high schools in the United States, the IB Program continues to grow.  Students and parents are attracted to the international nature of the program and the solid preparation of students to exist in a global world in which cross-cultural understanding and language skills are critical.
